MIAMI INTERIOR DESIGNER JENNIFER CORREDOR HAS DESIGNED BEAUTIFUL MASTER BEDROOMS AND GUEST BEDROOMS OVER THE YEARS

Design-wise, your master bedroom should inspire you to create a space that is relaxing, soothing, and comfortable.  

Here is one of our most relaxing and equally romantic master bedrooms featured in Florida Design by Christine Davis:

“The master bedroom does not disappoint with its blue-green hues, white wavy wall, and a leather-tufted bed dressed in white linens.  Contemporary floor lamp brightens a leather-clad lounge chair, creating a cozy spot to read and relax.”


“The wall behind the bed is paneled in a textured wave pattern that mimics the ocean, while a plush silk area rug adds a shimmering touch.  Delicate, white sheers open to a wraparound balcony.  “I specified cable for the balcony rails, similar to what we used in the stairway,” says Jennifer Corredor.  “The views to the pool area and gardens below are unobstructed.”

“Outside, areas for grilling, dining, and relaxing are all comfortably arranged for entertaining.  Casual furnishings shape poolside social groupings, a shady arbor provides respite from the sun, and a mosaic in blue-glass tiles forms the backdrop for a sparkling waterfall.”

“In five months, the talented designer transformed a dark and closed 5,000-square-foot unit located on a high floor into a series of sweeping waterfront spaces and updated the well-located apartment into a light and airy retreat for a sports-loving family of five.”

Even when the husband has to work from their Miami Beach digs, he is surrounded by tropical beauty.  For instance, there are times when the master bedroom must double as the husband’s home office.  The room had to be large enough to accommodate a working space for this purpose.  So Corredor placed an appropriate table near the window and across from the king-size bed.  “No blocking of the amazing water view was necessary,” she says.  “I kept an open space with a lot of white so it functions well and the workspace fits right in.”  She repeated the bold modern art in the room as well as in the guest bedroom, which also has a workspace for the sons when they are home from school and need to study.

The designer is still happy and glowing with the results of her work in this apartment.  She gets a “spiritual feeling” when she walks inside.  “It is so peaceful and serene, with subtle hints of explosive statements,” she says.  “The entire space is open, yet anchored by the warmth of the exotic woods.”  The client wrote Corredor a letter at the end of the project congratulating her on a job well done.  She revealed that owning a Miami Beach home was her husband’s dream 30 years ago.  “Now we have a quality perfect yet practical home,” she wrote to the designer.  “You solved challenges, and the end result far exceeds our expectations.  We love it.”

A TERRACE WITH A MODERN NOD TOWARDS NATURE FEATURED IN FLORIDA DESIGN

The beautiful condo on Allison Island boasts a terrific 1,200-square-foot terrace, which Miami Interior Designer Jennifer Corredor made the most of because her client desired the space to give her a true sense of peace. For the terrace, Jennifer used granite flooring perfectly coupled with a lush backdrop of tropical landscaping, including orange, tangerine, lemon, and lime trees. She selected outdoor furnishings in neutral tones where her client could sit back in a relaxed environment and enjoy the beautiful water views and passing boats. The wraparound terrace provides the perfect spot to entertain in a garden paradise. “I used white planters to keep everything airy and light, and created landscaping for privacy, finishing the space with a tropical look,” the interior designer said.
