The beautiful condo on Allison Island boasts a terrific 1,200-square-foot terrace, which Miami Interior Designer Jennifer Corredor made the most of because her client desired the space to give her a true sense of peace. For the terrace, Jennifer used granite flooring perfectly coupled with a lush backdrop of tropical landscaping, including orange, tangerine, lemon, and lime trees. She selected outdoor furnishings in neutral tones where her client could sit back in a relaxed environment and enjoy the beautiful water views and passing boats. The wraparound terrace provides the perfect spot to entertain in a garden paradise. “I used white planters to keep everything airy and light, and created landscaping for privacy, finishing the space with a tropical look,” the interior designer said. Miami Interior Designer Jennifer Corredor’s cherished client allowed her to be creative in the design of her 2,400-square-foot, two-story condominium on Allison Island in Miami Beach. Initially, the condo was dark with unpleasant colors and curtains, and a bathroom in the kitchen area needed to be entirely removed.  Jennifer did a breathtaking 180-degree transformation in the kitchen and living areas to unblock the view and open up the space. Jennifer’s concept for this home with water views from almost every room was a modern design with lots of light, natural colors, white-glass tile flooring, white-painted walls, and recessed lighting.  She seamlessly opened the living areas to become one great room that brought the natural exterior inside. The open dining area and kitchen combine to create the perfect space to entertain as family and friends gather in the heart of the home.
